TURTLE BUNBURY – ‘REFUGEES, MIDWIFES & ENGINEERS IN 18th CENTURY IRELAND’
Focussing on some topics of very local interest, Turtle will look at disparate figures connected to Portarlington, including some of the Huguenot community, the man who built the Rotunda Hospital and a remarkable engineer.
Turtle Bunbury is a best-selling author, historian and TV presenter based in Ireland. He appeared on the 2018 US series of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’. His next book, ‘Ireland’s Forgotten Past’, will be published in 2020.
