Emo Court 2019 Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions

The promoter is the Office of Public Works (Heritage Ireland) whose registered office is at Jonathan Swift Street, Trim, Co. Meath, C15 NX36.

The competition is open to all aged 18 years or over except employees of the Office of Public Works (Heritage Ireland) and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are only available via www.emocourt.ie and at OPW Heritage Services stand at Bloom 2019 (30th May – 3rd June 2019) and it will be promoted on social media and in print publications by sponsoring partners and others.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Closing date for entry will be midnight, Saturday 29th June 2019. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

To enter complete the entry form on www.emocourt.ie or at the OPW Heritage Services Stand at Bloom 2019. The competition runs from Thursday 30th May 2019 to midnnight, Saturday 29th June 2019 .

There will be one winner of the main prize:

  • 1 Night Bed & Full Irish Breakfast (based on 2 adults sharing)
  • Cream Tea on Arrival served with Local Laois Favourite Gs Jam
  • Private Tour of Emo Court, House & Gardens
  • Heritage Picnic Hamper to take on your trip to Emo Court.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The winner will be chosen by the promoter. The winner will be notified by email/ phone on Monday 1st July 2019.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 2 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

The winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The winner’s names will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address info@opw.ie

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
